An event fit for a queen, or more.
There were two main reasons to celebrate during this wonderful event!
- It was the 104th anniversary for the I.E.S Portuguese Hall in San Jose, CA
- The new queens of 2018 were announced during their presentation
Over 100 years of history held within the IES Portuguese Hall walls where traditions are passed on from generation to generation. This hall holds several special events that can fit all your loved ones inside to share memories that will last a lifetime.
Right from the start of this event, the tables were decorated with white clothes and navy blue bows on the chairs, the dessert table was filled with delicious looking cakes, and the queens were getting ready for their presentation.
We photographed the incoming queens, the replaced queens, proud families with their queens, escorts, the cooks in the kitchen, and guests who were enjoying their time at this event. Families and friends gathered around for a delicious filet mignon with shrimp and sides meal while listening to the musician for the evening, Gilberto Amaral.
The queens and their families were introduced during the presentation as they walked through the center of the hall. When the presentation was over, families and friends gathered around and danced the night away!
